" For Magnum "
                        May 9, 1997

The rising sun, a mourning breeze.
Awake, I hear your constant wheeze.
A labored breath, a wistful sigh.
A gentle kiss to say good-bye.
Your trusting eyes, though filled with pain,
My love for you is still the same.
           Your body spent, your face, so pale;
A final swish of your golden tail.
My heavy heart, it braves the end.
And saves a place for my best friend.

Dear Chelsea,
God sawe that you were getting tired, And a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around you, and whispered, "Come with Me."
With tearful eyes we watched you suffer, and saw you fade away.
Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A Golden heart stopped beating, Hard-working paws to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

A Poem to "Candy"  from my Heart
               "Had A Dream"

"In my dreams, late last night,
she came to me like a glowing light."
"She seem to settle near my side,
I didn't know what to do, stay or hide."
" I'll always remember her warm, soft touch,
it was our "Candy", we Love so much."
" She told me to remember the good days we had,
she's with out pain now, so don't be sad."
" I'm beyond Rainbow Bridge , where all Pets go,
we all wait here for Love ones we know."
"It's a wonderful place, so warm - no snow,
we'll be together in time, in mind and soul."
