There's ME (
For a Cairn Terrier)
I am a little terrier dog
as feisty as can be
So don't you come into my yard,
and don't you mess with me.
I know my right, I have my ways,
I'm always on the go
Not like some dogs I could mention
that are lazy, fat and slow.
I'm devoted to my owners and
of that there is no doubt,
But strangers? I may let them
in but I wont let them OUT,
I'm a cocky little terrier dog
as you can plainly see
But if you want a loving friend...........
there's ME!
When You Are Sad (For a Griffon)
When you are sad
I put my little paws upon your
knee
And look into your eyes,
and when my comical and whiskered
face you see
Your trouble flies.
For there is you,
And then again there's always
little me
Like shining Summer Skies
Your happiness and sorrow will
reflected be
In my bright eyes.

The Pheasant (For
a Bull dog)
There's a pheasant living
in the field
That runs around our lawn.
He makes a funny clucking sound
And wakes us up at dawn,
And when the Autumn comes along
And bullets fly around
Mum says that he's a wily bird
Who hides close to the ground.
But I can't stand that pheasant
And chasing him is fun
I'm after him most every day
Like a bullet from a gun.
Mum says I'll never catch him
And "That will be the day"
But I am one that wont give
up
No matter what they say.
One day I'm sure I'll catch
him
As he clacks his way around
Then that Pheasant will be clacking
In the Happy Hunting Ground!.
