BREEDERS?
As each new pup is whelped to life
     Don't let tragedy begin.
Search out for that loving home
     And let the puppy win.
I know you think you do no wrong
But can the truth be known?
The bitch or dog you sold last year
     Is only seen when shown.
What happened to the other pups,
The ones sold just as pets?
Are they still alive and well,
     Or simply epithets?
Were they spayed or neutered
     Before you let them go,
Or did you want the money
To pay for your next show?
"Rottweilers", you proudly say
Are the dogs you show & breed.
Do you really have a dog
     That's worthy of his seed?
Does he carry a faulty gene
And you breed him just the same,
Thats where 'backyard' dogs begin
And its those like you to blame!

You're The Best
                                      Remembering the good times
                                         And the sad ones too,
Because if it weren't for all of them
I would have no memory of you.

You made this life seem hopeful
                                      And promising in many ways,
For now that you're no longer here
It's tough to get through the days.

Life isn't the same without you
It seems everything is in disarray,
I don't know how to handle things
Since you always paved the way.

The heart you carry with you
Is the key to my success,
For my mission is to see you
And to tell you you're the best.
