“Miss Kelsey”
Miss Kelsey, such a special little lady,
A beautiful girl with a heart to match.
Personality plus with none to compare,
She walks in the room and all eyes she does catch!
She used to show and she left her nitch,
For in ’95 she was number two Pom bitch!
Loved to show everyone her perfection,
Not many who saw her had any objection.
Retired from the show ring she now lives at home.
To busy for shows now for she has to attend
Each litter of pups that her Mom brings in.
She willingly claims each pup as her own!
Company she knows come just to hold her,
For what other dog could you possibly prefer?
She knows she’s special, this little lady.
She likes to be held and rocked just like a baby.
With toys she loves to play “keep away”,
She “kills” each one sometime through the day.
But she’ll leave the toy if Mom leaves the room,
Her love for her Mom is like roses in bloom.
I’ve known Miss Kelsey since she was born
And I love her to like one of my own.
She has me wrapped round her little paw,
She’s precious to me for she has it all!
She knows when I walk in the door
Her feet will no longer be on the floor.
Spoiled rotten, you say, but who can deny
Her sweet little face with twinkling eyes?
The little soft pat of her paws on your knee,
Head tipped to the side, begging please hold me.
Your heart she captures the minute you meet her,
She happens once in a lifetime, never be another!
So proud is her Mom to be owned by her
And the rest of us to, we know that for sure!
A beautiful Pom with personality plus
And thankful we that she’s happened to us!!!
I’m very pleased to honor “Kelsey” with this poem.

“Sir Fidget”
I’m just little, as cute as can be!
A “fidget” is what they all call me.
The runt of the litter
(tho I think I’m bigger)
I can beat up my siblings
And do so quite regularly!!
Feeding times no problem
When all I see is bottoms
Surrounding the feed dish.
Their legs I go under
Leaves them to wonder,
How I do it without getting squished!
My Mom says I’m full of “something” and vinegar,
The stuff I need to be shown.
She says I have it all to be a good winner
And someday I will be well known!
For now I’m to busy for such things as shows
There’s a toy here that I need to kill!
A great hunter today as you well know,
This toy “my prey” if you will.
Oh, I can be little when it’s in my favor,
The “puppy charm” I can turn on!
Sad puppy eyes, tiny little voice to savor
Really gets the attention from Mom.
“That fidgets spoiled rotten!” I hear them say,
And everyone knows “I” like it that way!
A fidget I am and always will be,
Everyone’s favorite, they all want me!!
I rule the roost, as the saying goes
And when I grow up, I’ll rule the shows.
My Mom’s still looking for my “special” name
But for now I’m “Sir Fidget”
I rule my domain!!
