Big dogs landing on my head
Sometimes so strong I can't get out of bed.
No alcohol, no drugs are needed
my case is strange but others have pleaded.
Why you ask do these puppies appear
I think from love or possibly fear.
They land and bark and roll around my hair
they
sleep, eat and fun-lovingly chase their stares.
They fly around seeking me for their fun
Duck and run or they will find you and track you down!

My Best Friend, Amos
by Trisha Molholm
(age 15)
Who was always there to pick me up when I was down
especially in those lonely nights when no one was around?
Who stood right
beside me in times of hurt and strife?
Who did not desert me through the low parts of my life?
Who would give his love to me no matter what the cost?
My best friend, that's who!
My dog... and now he's lost!
MAX
by Rachel Harper
Max was spoiled,
Max was cute,
He'd eat the rug,
Or tear your suit.
He never showed,
Or held a fancy name,
But we loved him
all the same.
German Shepards
by Trisha Molholm
(age 11)
German Shepards, black and tan,
sit and stay with a signal of the hand.
German Shepards, black and red,
never tire and don't go to bed.
German Shepards of all colors
are very sweet and kind to others.
