Memories from yesterday are blowing in the wind
Swirling around for all that has been
Your paw prints that brought me so many good friends
Whirlwinds of love scattered in the wind

When you shed a tear for your long lost friend
Memories blowing around by the faceless wind
His sprit has come back to show you the way
Mending your heart for the "new paw prints"
He is sending your way!

What a cute puppy!  How much did you pay?
What did this puppy cost you say!

Champion before the name, it has it's price for it's fame.

Frozen or fresh chilled... living sperm can cost a fortune,
especially when it shipped across the ocean.

When the bitch fails to conceive it's off to the reproductive expertise.

Lets not forget the DNA...  the important tests for the canine diseases of today.

X-rays of the bones... not the ones he will bury,
it's for the ones his weight that they will carry.

 A visit to the Cardiologist...  the ears with a degree,
making sure that a strong heart will be beating disease free.

Eyes to guide his way...  a trip to the Ophthalmologist,
making sure bad genes don't take his sight away.

Cancelled plans for whelping dates, worrying about your bitches fate.

Socialization, picking up poop, soon it's time to feed the puppy group.

Counting puppies in your sleep, making sure your family eats.

Finding that Special Home for each puppy that is born.

This is the Puppy Package from a GOOD Breeder!
So you see the purchase price for my puppy was a steal,
and it filled the empty space in my Heart...  What a Deal!
