My Dog Max
His name was Max I l Loved him so
I will never forget the day I learned it was his time to go
Even till the end He was such a beautiful creature
But I think the love and joy he brought to me
Was certainly his best feature
Now that he is gone
I could never explain
The feelings I have
Of such deep sorrow and unrelenting pain
Much time has passed
And yet my broken heart wont mend
He truly was my loyal and faithful friend
I know he is with God up above
And that Heaven along with my heart
Are filled with his unconditional love
When we are reunited in Heaven someday
The pain and loss I feel Will finally go away
